Carmelia McElroy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmelia McElroy of Mulkeytown, Illinois, born in Christopher, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Luby and Rose Luby (Olkoski); her husband Alex McElroy Jr.; and her sisters, Leona Ward and Dorothy Luby.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Carla McElroy), Steve (Bonnie McElroy) and Randy (Darla McElroy); her grandchildren, Justin McElroy (Brittany), Megan Davis (Jeremy), Alexa Jones (JD), Eric McElroy (Brittney), Kelsey Clark (Erin Barnett), Scotty Clark, Robert and Jessica Maller; her great grandchildren, Chesney, Randi, Mia, Jesse, Mara, Candence, Bryar, Madilyn, Easton, Ryann, Railan, Ava Kane and Hunter; and her pets, Abel and Cricket. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
