He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Zimmer and Reibert Zimmer (Kirkman); his sister Joy Burden; his nephew Jody Burden; and his close friend Pat Banks.
He is survived by: his brother Ronald Zimmer (Glenda); and his nephew Tony Burden (Deena).
