With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iona June Stowe of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Newby and Nancy Newby (Moore); her former husband Melvin Donnelley of Vandalia, IL; her husbands, Harold H. Bandy and Ollie; her daughter Dallas Sharon Ulmer; her grandchildren, Julia Stewart Gannon and Kenny Nichols; her grandsons-in-law, Kevin Cook and Andy Hill; her brother Dan Newby; her foster brother Bill Strole; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanne Newby and Del Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Stewart (Earl) of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; her son-in-law Duane Ulmer of Greenville, Illinois; her granddaughters, Jody Koontz (Bill) of Lafayette, Janet Cook of Vandalia and Jennifer Lappe (Rex) of Greenville, Illinois; her grandchildren-in-law, Mark Gannon of Breese and Vicki Nichols of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister Lora-Belle Young of Spartanburg; and her sister-in-law Nyla Strole of Greenville, Illinois.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild.
