He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shewmaker and Melissa Shewmaker (Carr); and his wife Pamela A. Younker. He is survived by: his children, Josh Shewmaker (Gabby) of Moweaqua, IL and Kiley Argo (Josh) of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Tayler Argo (Dylan Jones), Drake Argo of Taylorville, IL, Henry and Wade Shewmaker of Moweaqua, IL; his great grandchild Oakley Jones of Taylorville, IL; and his siblings, Rodger Shewmaker (Dixie), Brent Shewmaker (Tammie) and Judy Miller (Bill) of Moweaqua, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seitz Funeral Home (118 E Main St, Moweaqua, IL 62550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
