She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Edna Provines (Slunaker); her husband Preceding; and her brothers, Bill and Pete.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Cox (Michele) of Moweaqua, IL, Carole Parsons (Jim) of Bethany, IL and Marilyn Keim (David) of Decatur, IL; and her sister Savannah Hickey of Greenville, IL.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
