He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jennings and Pauline Jennings (Maples); his children, Samuel Jennings and Pamela Jennings; and his brothers, Paul and Charles Jennings.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Anderson Gregory; his stepchildren, Scot Gregory (Wendy) of Moweaqua, IL, Michael Gregory (Mendie) of Greenville, NC, Beth Thrasher (Keith) of Moweaqua, IL and Stephanie Highley (Sean) of Moweaqua, IL; his granddaughters, Brittany and Danielle Jennings of Crystal Lake, IL; and his brother David Jennings of Nashville, TN..
