He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray D. Hays and Emma Hays (DeClerck); and his brother Bob Hays. He is survived by: his wife Linda Daugherty; his children, Brad Hays (Denise) of Imperial, MO, Bryan Hays (Kimberly) of Decatur, IL, Chris Hays (Janette) of Decatur, IL and Nicole Jackman of La Quinta, CA; his grandchildren, Jason, Nick, Alex, Lucas, Eric, Sean, Kaitlyn and Kai; his great grandchildren, Norah, Charlotte, Julia, Atlas and Marshall; and his sisters, Marilyn Kater (Jerry) of Moweaqua, IL and Karen Sue Jordan of Decatur, IL..
