He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hooper; his children, Larry Steffen (Angie) of Moweaqua, IL, Jim Steffen of Springfield, IL and Ritha Sirbaugh (Zip) of Pana, IL; and his siblings, Charles Steffen of Decatur, IL, Russell Steffen (Mary) of Lincoln, IL, Don Steffen, Sr. (Cleta) of Decatur, IL, Dorothy Schwab of Decatur, IL and Ruth Steffen of Wisconsin.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moweaqua or Moweaqua Food Pantry.
