He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Dennis and Ethel Dennis (Surratt); and his siblings, Mary Mallicoat and Larry Dennis. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sherry Horrer; his children, Deborah Finley (Aaron) of Decatur, IL, Matthew Dennis of Chicago, IL, Michael Dennis (Amanda) of Katy, TX, Donna Sanders (Tom) of Pana, IL and Peggy Dennis of Stonington, IL; and his siblings, Everett Dennis, Eugene Dennis, Bob Dennis and Maxine Moore. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Memorials in Julius' honor may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
