It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce E. Steffen of Moweaqua, Illinois, born in Barnhill, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Freda Mildred Hooper (Fowler); and her husband Preceding. She is survived by: her children, Larry Steffen (Angie) of Moweaqua, IL, Jim Steffen of Springfield, IL and Ritha Sirbaugh (Zip) of Pana, IL; and her brothers, Robert Dale Hooper, Sr. of Fairfield, IL and Dennis Hooper (Lora) of Watseka, IL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
