He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Austin and Flossie Austin; and his siblings, Carl Jr. Charles, Jerry, Dorothy Thompson and Darlene Durbin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Austin of Moweaqua, IL.; his daughters, Susan Nicol (Don) of Moweaqua, IL. and Connie Weakly (Josh); his sister Judy Hutchins of Windsor, IL.; his grandchildren, Courtney Monson (Josh) and Alex Nicol (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Weston Monson, Adelyn and Ella Nicol. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
