She was predeceased by: her parents, Adlai Dubson and Grace Dubson (Funk); her siblings, Reuben Dubson and Sara Dubson; and her son-in-law Darrell Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Gorden; her daughter Melanie Hall; her granddaughter LeAnn Hall of Moweaqua, IL; and her brother Michael Dubson of Boston, MA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Taylorville (200 S Walnut St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Music Fund of First United Methodist Church of Taylorville and Elara Hospice.
