He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Knapp and Goldie Knapp (Landers); and his son-in-law Ed Snow. He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Smith; and his children, Dale Knapp, Jr. (Beth), Jackie Mahone (Alan), Gena Snow and Diane Cutler.
