William Fred Lehnhardt Obituary

As we bid William Fred farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William Fred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lehnhardt and Bernice Lehnhardt (Schneider). He is survived by: his wife Lois M. Lehnhardt (Hills) of Mt. Zion; his sisters, Heidi Vahey of Las Vegas, NV and Wendy Claus of Mass City, MI; and his children, Keith Lehnhardt (Allison) of Dunkirk, MD, Jennifer Hinkle (Jim) of Knoxville, TN and Kim Hurm (Bill) of Mt Zion, IL. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 1 wonderful great-grandson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Central Christian Church (650 W William St, Decatur, IL 62522). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
