She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Curry and Evelyn Curry (McConnell); her husband Larry Schmidt; and her sister Sylvia Petty. She is survived by: her children, Lori Starbody (Frank) of Maroa, IL, Angi Scott (Brad) of Highland, IL and Barry Schmidt (Jennifer) of Mt. Zion; and her grandchildren, Kristin Roe (Nathan) of Noblesville, IN, Adam Scott of Champaign, IL, Kaitlyn Starbody (Michael) of Murphysboro, TN, Jason Scott (Maggie) of St. Louis, MO, Logan Schmidt (Emma) of Mattoon, IL, Nolan Scott of Cincinnati, OH, Brandon Schmidt of St. Louis, MO, Faith Scott of Highland, IL and Anna Schmidt of Mt. Zion. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
