He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Byers and Velma Byers (Bradshaw). He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Ashcraft of Mt. Zion; his children, Brian K. Byers (Lindsay Romano) of Mt. Zion, Bradley L. Byers (Lisa) of Decatur and Brooke L. Brenner (Brandon) of Decatur; his sisters, Marsha Etnier (Norman) of Monroe, GA, Pamela Sunderland of Springfield, Becky Morris (Dennis) of Decatur and Kris Wolbers (Mike) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Alyssa Tolly, Gillian Brenner, Carson Brenner, Zane Romano, Maximus Byers and Grace Byers; his great grandchild Xander Tolly; his sister Judy Rogers (Gerald) of Decatur; and his pet Gidget Noel.
