He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eugene and Marjorie Christine Gower (Burress); his sister Beverly Ann; his brother-in-law Robert Lee McCallister; and his brother Gregory Eugene Gower.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Gower of Mt. Zion, IL and Daniel Gower of Decatur, IL; his grandchildren, Vanessa Gower and Jeffrey Gower; his sister Chloe Gower of Tilden, IL; and his sister-in-law Sue Gower of Hutsonville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
