He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James R. Long and Ellen D. Long (Rankin); his wife Rose M. LeDuc of Mt. Zion; his daughter Debi Buckley (Kevin) of Macon, IL; his grandsons, Jason Buckley (Mindy) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Cody Buckley (Jessica) of Mt. Zion; his great grandchildren, Grayson Buckley, Ariana Buckley and Parker Buckley; his children, Michael and Janet; and his brother Roger. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
