He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Cain and Zita Cain (Compagni); his brother Butch; and his uncle Frank Dillman. He is survived by: his wife Patricia D. Scott of Mt. Zion; his sons, Dan Cain of Fairbanks, AK and Darrin Cain (Michelle) of Fredericksburg, VA; his sisters, Pam Mirabelli (Tony) of Crestwood, MO, Connee Speiser (John) of Witt, IL and Bonnee Kettelkamp (Ben) of Greenville, IL; his aunt Vanda Dillman of St. Louis, MO; his cousin Bob Dillman (Pat) of Millstadt, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Dee Cain of Litchfield, IL, Diana Woodworth (Ron) of Cross Plains, TN and Steve Scott (Bev) of Greenville, IL..
