It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy A Kornewald of Mount Zion, Illinois, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey W. Hord and Julia F. Hord (Carr); and her husband Ronald O. Kornewald. She is survived by: her former husband Merlin A. Landgrebe; her children, Eric Landgrebe (Joyce) of Decatur and Julie Landgrebe-Harmon (Jerry) of Lexington, SC; her stepdaughter Tammey Grandon (Kenneth) of Decatur; and her brothers, James Hord of Decatur, Robert Hord (Delores) of Oakley and Donald Joseph Hord of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church or Macon County Animal Shelter.
