She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stein and Grace Stein (Gagliano); her son John Michael Svoboda; and her brother Joseph Stein. She is survived by: her husband Edwin F. Svoboda of Mt. Zion, IL; her sons, Edwin J. Svoboda (Sheryl) of Lombard, IL, Brian A. Svoboda (Shelly) of Long Creek, IL and Brad J. Svoboda of Mt. Zion, IL; and her brothers, Dennis Stein (Sharon) of Zion, IL and William Stein (Joyce) of Winthrop Harbor, IL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
