It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Betzer of Mount Zion, Illinois, born in Weldon, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane McConkey and Ruth McConkey (Perkins); her husband Donald L. Betzer; and her grandson Chad Dahman. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Fink (Jim) of Cisco, Brenda Dahman (Eric) of Argenta and Karen Schroeder of Decatur. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
