We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2019, at the age of 81, Larry Ray Schmidt (Mount Zion, Illinois), born in Rock Island, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schmidt and Maude Schmidt (Sackville); and his siblings, Marlin "Jake" Schmidt, Virgil "Stub" Schmidt, Duane Schmidt, Bernard Schmidt, Stanley Schmidt, Gloryl Parchert and Elizabeth Beauchamp.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger of Mt. Zion; his children, Lori Starbody (Frank) of Maroa, IL, Angi Scott (Brad) of Highland, IL and Barry Schmidt (Jennifer) of Mt. Zion; his grandchildren, Kristin Roe (Nathan) of Noblesville, IN, Adam Scott of Champaign, IL, Kaitlyn Starbody (Michael Arnold) of Murphysboro, TN, Jason Scott of St. Louis, MO, Logan Schmidt of Mt. Zion, Brandon Schmidt of Mt. Zion, Anna Schmidt of Mt. Zion, Nolan Scott of Highland, IL. and Faith Scott of Highland, IL.; and his sisters, Desyl Neal of Wrightwood, CA, Ramona Schmidt of Breese, IL and Karen Schmidt of West Chicago, IL.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics or the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.
