With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathlyne Clanton in Mount Zion, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth E. Huntley (Pierce) and Edwin L. Huntley. She is survived by: her sister Ruthmary Kirby Kiler; her children, Cindy Smith (Jim), Lesa Crane (Clanton), Brian Clanton (Marla Opperman) of Chesnut, IL and Rodney Clanton (Dawn Smith) of Maryland Heights, MO.; her grandsons, Ashley Smith (Abby Kelly), Griffin Smith (Brandy Sparks), Nelson Crane (Jess Kranz) and Nathan Crane; and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Kayla, Eileen and Remy.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to First United Methodist Church.
