With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe D. Baietto of Mount Zion, Illinois, born in Kincaid, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Baietto and Margaret Baietto (Cargnino); his former wife Dorothy May Foster; his wife Lucia Jeffress (Calcaterra); and his stepson Charles Jeffress.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Wiley (James) of Mt. Zion, Janette Taylor (Douglas) of Bowling Green, KY and Joseph T. Baietto (Lori) of Mt. Zion; his stepdaughter Julie Jeffress of Mt. Zion; his siblings, Fred Baietto (Agnes) of Forsyth and Sandra Tarter of Mattoon; and his grandchildren, Christine Allen (Shannon), Kimberly Yates (Nate), Karen Reynolds (Rob), Ashley Chumbley, Kevin Taylor (Hannah) and Nick Baietto. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Joe's memory to St. James Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
