Esther J McEvoy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 96, Esther J McEvoy of Mount Zion, Illinois, born in Ford City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Frederick and Jennie Rose Burdett; her husband Richard J. McEvoy; and her siblings, Clyde, Clair, Lloyd, Jack Burdett, Edna Faulx and Elsie Hartman.

She is survived by: her children, Roseanna Wiegand (Rod) of Decatur, Richard J McEvoy, Jr. (Eva) of Hammond, IN and Judy Ragan (Danny) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Jim Wiegand (Sherry) of Bloomington, IL, Shelly Kotynek (Joe) of Logan, UT, Ricky McEvoy of Hammond, IN, Beth Chandler (Ryan) of Philo, IL, Sean Ragan (Brooke) of Decatur and Katy Moore (Jake) of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Austin Wiegand, Ally Wiegand, James Kotynek, Lily Chandler, Penn Ragan, Emelia Moore, Dixie Moore, Jake Moore and Gina Moore; her brother Fred Burdett (Louise) of Worthington, PA; and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Benson (William) of Ford City, PA and Florence Burdett of Ford City, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
