Eric J. McEwen Obituary

Eric Jerome McEwen, age 55, departed this life surrounded by family on December 18th, 2017 at Amita Bolingbrook Hospital. He was born March 8th, 1962 in Joliet Illinois to the late John D. McEwen and Alice Pearl McEwen. He leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife of 26 years, Tammy Bell McEwen; devoted sons, Eric Justin McEwen and Adam Courtland McEwen; siblings, John D. McEwen (Azalea), Terry Renee Irby (Harry (deceased), Ingrid A. Snapp (Clyde), Bridgette Churchill (Richard) (both deceased), Dwight McEwen, Leonard S. McEwen (Sheila), Pamela McEwen, Michael A. McEwen and Alice M. McEwen; In-Laws, Reverend Dr. Raymond C. Bell and Dr. Lorraine P. Bell; Brother in law, Raymond C. Bell II (LeRuth); and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial in celebration of his life will be held beginning at 10:30am Thursday December 28th, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 402 Singleton Place, Joliet, IL 60436.
