She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sperl and Lucille Sperl (Vest); and her son Jason Brabender. She is survived by: her husband Thomas William Brabender; her children, Andrew Brabender (Marcie) of Goshen, IN and Mindy Humphrey (Larry) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Brooke, Emma, Meghan, Beau, Kate and Luke; and her brother George Hays of Decatur.
