She was predeceased by: her parents, William McIlwain and Marguerite McIlwain (Shuck); and her husband Joe Petty. She is survived by: her children, Julie Nord (William) of South Elgin, IL, David Petty of Mt. Zion and Chris Petty (Sarah) of Ackworth, GA; her siblings, William McIlwain Jr. (Cindy) of Windsor, IL and Margaret Jarc; and her grandchildren, Ryan Nord, Kyle Nord, Audrey Nord, Grace Nord, Chiren Petty, David Petty Jr., Pherrin Petty, Akairah Petty, Tessa Petty, Beckham Petty and Jace Petty.
