She was predeceased by: her parents, Bantford Kendall and Alva Kendall (Hale); her husband Norman W. Pickel; her stepfather Charles Vaughn; and her brothers, Wayne Kendall and Paul Kendall.
She is survived by: her children, Joni M. "Homer" Ellis of Vienna and Rodney W. "Clyde" Pickel of Nashville, Tennessee; her grandsons, Christopher "Catfish" Carrick (James W.) of Vienna and Decatur; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb; her siblings, Don Kendall (Jackie) of Edinburg and Charlene Brown (Bill) of Cisco; her sisters-in-law, Bev and Betty; her sister Shirley Alexander; and her daughters, Ellen Williams and Tammy Teske. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
