It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Joann Walker (Mount Zion, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Brown and Fern Brown (Simmons); her brother Clifton Brown (Barbara) of Vandalia; her grandson Dalton; her great grandchild Elie Gene; and also Dale Brown (Sandra) of Hawesville.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Jean; her sons, Jeffrey Walker (Sonya) of Mt Zion, Timothy Walker (Robin) of Decatur, Bruce Walker (Carrie) of Mt Zion, Edwin Walker (Michelle) of Mt. Zion and John Walker of Higginsville, Missouri; her sister June Mahon of Vandalia; and also, Donny and Dee Dee Shafer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church and the American Cancer Society.
