She was predeceased by: her parents, Gleason Gowler and Opal Gowler (Scott); her spouse Claude W. Hutchison; her cousin Marjorie A. Germann of Mount Vernon; and her siblings-in-law, Nita Douglas (Bruce) and Wayne Hutchison.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Louise Hutchison of Marion, Illinois.
Memorials may be made in Zola's honor to Camp Ground Baptist Church or Shiner's Children's Hospital.
