Yvonne Marie Sledge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Marie Sledge of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Coello, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sherman McClellan and Mary McClellan (D'Haillecourt); her husband Burrell Sledge of Mt. Vernon; her children, Matthew Sledge (Katrina) and LaRhonda Harlan (Rick); her grandchildren, Alyssa Hughett (Jacob), Morgan McWaters (Byron), Shelby Sledge and Elijah Sledge; her son Jeffrey Alan Sledge; and her brothers, Arthur McClellan and Donald McClellan. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to East Salem Cemetery, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
