She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Frey and Louisa Frey (Herzing); her husband Edwin W. Karcher; and her siblings, Eugene Frey, Marie Karcher, Alice Puskarich, Leo Frey, Leland Frey and William P. Frey.

She is survived by: her children, Roger (Quetta) of Marion, Michael (Sue) of Dahlgren and Teresa Kulinowski (Karcher) of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Krista Harbaugh of Bloomington, Kyle Karcher of Cape Girardeau, Jason Brown of Amelia Island, Loran Karcher of Omaha, Maggie O'Daniel of McLeansboro, Katie Karcher of Benton, Aaron Kulinowski of Verona and Caleb Kulinowski of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Noah, Justin, Stella, Harvey, Kash, Kruz, Drew and Kade; and her sisters-in-law, Monica, Roseanna and Helen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
