It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Jane Hayes of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Delbert and Rosie May Rapp (Gates); her husband Edward G. "Ed" Hayes; her children, Doug Hayes and Cindy White; her brothers, Delbert Rapp and James Lewis; and her great grandchild Lucas Gehrig.
She is survived by: her son Harold "Butch" McIntyre of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her stepsons, Steve Hayes of Mount Vernon and Jeff Hayes of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Leslie Hayes of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michael Hayes, Noah Hayes, Chanelle Hayes (Chris Gehrig), Charles Hayes and Staci Johnson; her great grandchildren, Kami Hayes, Madi Hayes, Payten Gehrig and Paxtyn Gehrig; and her sister Violet Coil of Mount Vernon, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
