He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith (Johnson); his children, Hope (Shawn Scott) of Texico, Illinois, Paul (Kelly Smith) of Opdyke, Illinois and Brad Stephenson of Bluford; his grandchildren, Gavren Smith of Opdyke, Madison Long (Jeremy) of Rolla, Logan of Texico, Abigail of Texico and Lincoln Scott of Texico; and his siblings, Cindy Hileman (Rick) of Caledonia, Nancy Carrico (Mike) of Mackville, Linda Duke of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Donna Johnson (Ronnie) of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Ricky Smith of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Ronnie Smith of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Janice Smith of Mount Washington, Kentucky, Janet Smith of Mount Washington, Kentucky and Robert Smith of Mount Washington, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
