He is survived by: his significant other Linda McKinney of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his son Timothy McKinney (Angie) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Angela Brown of West Frankfort, Illinois; his grandchildren, Joseph L Brown, Jr. of West Frankfort and Kalib Brown of West Frankfort, Illinois; and his niece Peggy.
