She is survived by: her sons, Everett Whiteside (Haley) of Pensacola and Nick Whiteside (Bridget) of O'Fallon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Bryson Whiteside, Riley Grissom, Patrick Grissom, Liam Whiteside, Brody Whiteside and Evelyn Whiteside; her nieces, Janine Mathai and Colleen Childrey; and her nephew Jeffrey Pennington.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the Audubon Society.
