Vera M. Fisher Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2021, at the age of 66, Vera M. Fisher of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Hamilton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schnicker and Katherine Schnicker (Brake); her husband James Fisher; and her brother Paul Schnicker. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Baltzell Jr. (Kathy) of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Kathy Byars (Craig) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her stepdaughter Brandy Reeves (Bryan) of Greenville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Maria Byars, Amy Povolish (Ryan), Jennifer Scarber, Danny Scarber (Erica), Destiny, Mia and Nena Reeves; her siblings, Jerry Schnicker (Joyce) of Dahlgren, Larry Schnicker (Betty) of McLeansboro, Mike Schnicker of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Olive Thomas (Larry) of Infield and Tina White (Tom) of Keenes, Illinois; her niece Chastaty White; her great-nephew Logan; and her close friend Bandit. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
