James Coleman wrote a sympathy message

“Tommy, you know we love you very much. You are a holy man. At your mother-in-law's funeral, at her request, you had the strength to solo sing {HOW GREAT THOU ART}*. The pastor of the Church at the time announced that anyone who needed counsel could come to him or to Brother Tommy. *For anyone who does not know, Tommy had a beautiful musical voice. He had the lead male part in "Brigadoon" (as well as other events) at Mt. Vernon Township High School in the 1960s. Love, Liz & Jim”
