She was predeceased by: her father Paul Edwards; her husband Wilbur M. Mefford; her children, Cindy Mefford and Larry Mefford; and her grandson Johnathan Scott Goforth.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Hawkins (Tim) of Mount Vernon, Matthew Mefford of Branson and Mark Mefford (Ginny) of Benton, Illinois. She is also survived by 8 great-granchildren and 1 great-great-granchild.
Memorials may be made in Theresa's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
