He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joy and Cora Joy (Culli); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Rankin, Martin Story and Ann Story.
He is survived by: his wife Lovetta Joy (Story); his children, Shawn Joy (Paula) of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Greg Joy (Lori) of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Kimberly Maurer (Ryan) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Draper Joy, Alaina Maurer and Cale Maurer; his sisters, Judy Cummings (Gary) of Pensacola, Debbie Rankin of Mount Vernon, Pam Graham (Dennis) of Mount Vernon and Tonya Coggins (Mark) of Nason, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Randy, Donna Cummings, Larry Story and Billie Sue Story. He is also survived by nine nieces; eight nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made in Terry's honor to Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church.
