We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 63, Susan L Bodine of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ellis; her husband Charles Bodine; and her son Carl Atteberry. She is survived by: her sons, David Hughey (Chrystal Doney) of Mount Vernon and Jason Ellis (Amy Hopper) of Mount Vernon; her granddaughters, Jasmine Hughey and Nevaeh Hughey; her great grandchildren, Jhavari Derixon and Jhacari Hughey; and her siblings, Linda Robinson (Bobby Arnett), Stacy Vance (Terry), Jennifer Williams (Kris), Amber Garcia, Bobby Ellis (Carla), John Ellis (Kathy Ryan) and Travis Ellis (Heather). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Susan's honor to Hughey Funeral Home to help with expenses.
