It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stewart Alson Bean of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bean and Gene Bean (Houston); his wife Betty Jones Bean; his daughter Linda Page; and his siblings, Evelyn Simms, Melvin Bean, Freda Keip and Anna Keip.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Ronald Page; his children, Sue Davenport (Martin) of New Concord, Randy Bean of Mount Vernon and Paula Hampton (David) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Matt Page (Stephanie Culp), Chad Hampton (Michelle), Justin Page (Michelle), Jody Mack (Jarad), Jenny Davenport, Julie Davenport and Doug Hampton; and his great grandchildren, Ava Hampton, Jake Page, Hannah Hampton, Austin Mack, Kayden Mack, Emma Jo Mack, Skylar Hampton and Dalton Hampton.
Memorials may be made in Stewart's honor to Logan Street Baptist Church or Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church.
