He is survived by: his spouse Gayla Martin; his children, Ricky Pate of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Robin Webb of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Christopher Webb, Christian Pate, Eric Hicks and Colten Dean Hicks; his siblings, Barry Pate (Betty) of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Veronica Clark of Raleigh; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Tinsley (Dave) of Woodlawn and Debbie Woolever (Bud Harris) of Woodlawn, Illinois.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
