She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ray and Tena Gladys Robling (Phillips); her spouse G. C. "Pete" Heiderscheit; her son Jerry T. Farmer; and her siblings, Dorothy Mildred Cook and Joseph V. Robling.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Rogers (Cassell Wayne) of Valier, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Ruth's honor to Valier First Baptist Church.
