He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell F. Barr and Jewel Barr (Dare); his wife Norma Jean Correll; and his siblings, Tom Barr (Mary) and Betty Mead (Ed).
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Jones (Harold) of Mt. Vernon; his granddaughters, Chris Shopinski (Johnny) of Mt. Vernon and Nicole Brown (Mike) of Mt. Vernon; and his great grandchild Christopher Brown.
