He is survived by: his children, Roy Roper of Mount Vernon and Dorothy Roper of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Lexie and Tucker; and his siblings, Charles Roper, James Roper, Glen Roper, Robbie Roper, Fred Roper, Rosetta Chapman and Sandy Kay Roper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
