He was predeceased by: his spouse Allura Linda Smith (Lean); his daughter Leilani Hayes; and his brothers, Steven Smith, Robin Smith and Jim Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Eblen of Mount Vernon, Curtis Smith (Pam) of Mount Vernon and Daniel O. Smith (Laura) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Amanda Sears (Shawn), Robert Hayes, Jr. (Beth), Emma Wynn (Chad), Jacob Smith, Cale Smith and Adrian Modglin; and his great grandchildren, Shae Sears, Sloan Sears, Peyton Hayes, Jace Hayes, Aspen Hayes, Lily Wynn and Kainin Wynn.
