He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin C. Boettcher and Dorothy Boettcher (Smith); his parents-in-law, Floyd and Jessie Elliott; and his nephew AJ Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Boettcher (Elliott); his children, Heather Tate (Jason) of Centralia, Karon Johannes (Stephen) of St. Charles, Ronald C. Boettcher, Jr. (Misty) of Keiser, Tiffany Carter (Zac) of Charleston and Richard Boettcher (Brittney) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Emily Johannes, Chloe Tate, Benjamin Boettcher, Timothy Boettcher, Cameron Boettcher, Cole Tate, Zachary Johannes, Samuel Boettcher and Sophie Carter; and his siblings, Allen Boettcher, Sr. (Regina) of Centralia, Robert Boettcher, Sr. (Suki) of Waldorf, Maryland, Rita Leathers (Neil) of Rotorua and Judy McKinney (James Richard) of Virden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
